When the competition closes, our judges will use calibrated monitors to judge each photograph, giving it a score out of 100. Final entries are accepted until 15 November 2023. The entry fee remains unchanged at US$25 per image, and if you enter by 8 November 2023, every fifth entry is free. And the entry process is easy - just size your file to 4000-5000 pixels on the longest side, save it as a JPEG and upload it. So, what's the process? Your job is to impress our five judges, including last year's winner Benjamin Briones Grandi. And there are five special subject prizes winning a print from Created For Life!

The key for this competition is that the landscape photographs are created by you and your inspirations, not software that works independently of you.ĪI generated images (and for composite images, image components) are not permitted because you are not the author of the content. Minor AI retouching is acceptable as long as it is not creating new content. For us, part of the skill and art of landscape photography is being able to find and capture it yourself, or imagine and create it yourself. So let's talk about the elephant in the room! How do we deal with photographs and content generated by AI? There are already photography competitions inviting AI generated images, but our competition is not one of them.
